The Amazing Adventures of Bacon & Tofu

Shortly after taking my new position a casual friend of mine from the library asked to have an informal chat with me.  I was a little excited and a little scared because I wasn’t sure what it was about (she didn’t really allude to anything).  So I was stressing a little – hoping that it was something fun but not too sure.  Well as it ends up she just had something on her mind that she felt she needed to share with me and was really worried that I would think that she was butting in where she didn’t belong.  So, would you be scared?  Because I sure was!  Thankfully the woman is super awesome and I knew she wouldn’t say anything intentionally mean and that she really did have my best interests at heart. Well, it has been a while since the last post and SO MUCH has been going on! As you saw a few weeks ago I got a new job (yay!). My last day in my current position is this Thursday. I have been bustin’ my balls for the last two weeks to get things wrapped up and ready for me to leave. I don’t only have to take care of my regular tasks but also wrap up all the “extras” that I have been working on.
