Can you tell that I am a little excited?? As you can see I have already posted pictures of the first opened Christmas gifts. I had Sat open one this morning (12:01 am this morning!) so that he could have it for today. He definitely thought I was off my rocker insisting that he open one of his presents so early. I had to keep reassuring him that this wasn’t some trick so that I could open some of my presents early. My reasoning? We had decided to make our big Christmas meal today so that we wouldn’t have to worry about it tomorrow. Plus, he has been promising me cookies for weeks now and today is supposed to be the day that he makes them. Now, if you have ever been within a block of Sat when he is cooking you know that he is famous for getting food all over his clothes, and then crying about it. I figured if he opened this present BEFORE he started cooking I wouldn’t have to but him anymore clothes! Although we have now decided to push back the big meal (Tofurky is thawed) he used his apron to make pancakes this morning and is working on the cookie as we speak – yummy cooookies.
