Sat post accident

So it has been a couple weeks since Sat’s fateful run-in with the truck and first off I would like to say thank you for everyone’s concern! Random people at work would come up to me and ask how he was doing. I didn’t realize so many people were secretly reading our blog. YAY!! But to answer the question you are all asking, he is fine. That contusion never came to surface so we didn’t see any bruising. He was a little stiff for a few days but because he stuck with his exercising and regular routine he really didn’t have much down time.

As for the bike . . . at first we thought that everything was okay but just yesterday when Sat was doing his monthly maintenance (filling tires, cleaning chains, etc) he noticed that one of his wheels is bent. He had his first experience with a bike on the bus yesterday. I guess it was comical since he didn’t know how to put the bike on the rack. I just wish I could have been there. But now I don’t have to listen to his excuses for not taking the shuttle! He is currently bike-less but should be back on two wheels tomorrow afternoon.
